During the eight years of the Japanese invasion of China, at least 200,000 Chinese women were forced to become sexual slaves of the Japanese army, or "comfort women" as we often refer to them. When the film was shot in 2014, there were only 22 "comfort women" survivors left in mainland China. As time slowly passes and time heals wounds, where are these elderly people who have experienced unimaginable hardships now? What kind of life are they leading? What kind of joys and sorrows are they experiencing?
