Sergio Vieira de Mello (Wagner Moura) is a charismatic and complex character who has spent much of his storied career as a senior UN diplomat working in the world’s most volatile regions, deftly dealing with presidents, revolutionaries and war criminals to protect the lives of ordinary people.
