The successive bombings have caused people living in Tokyo to panic. The reckless senior detective Chaya (Eguchi Yosuke) leads his subordinates to track down the real culprit. As a result, they encounter an explosion in a remote place and then find a mysterious man who calls himself Suzuki Ichiro (Ikuta Toma) at the scene. Suzuki behaves unusually calmly, so Chaya asks psychiatrist Washiya Mariko (Matsuyuki Yasuko) who has met him once to judge Suzuki's mental state.
