Michelle (Meaghan Jette Martin) was born in a poor family. Because of her father's work, Michelle often moved when she was young, so she didn't have very close friends around her. She was sensitive and introverted, and she often felt inferior because of her experience and origin. This time, Michelle transferred to North Shore High School, where she met the campus queen Mandy (Maiara Walsh) and the girl Abby (Jennifer Stone) who was often bullied by Mandy. Entrusted by Abby's father, Michelle decided to become friends with Abby. The two of them soon angered Mandy. Michelle's move was tantamount to disobeying Mandy in public.
