"Coach Carter", also known as "The Iron-Blooded Coach" and "The Severe Winter of the Chorus", is adapted from the true story of Ken Carter, the coach of the high school basketball team. The Richmond High School basketball team had never won any game before. It was a team that had been defeated and fought repeatedly. All this changed after Coach Carter (Samuel L. Jackson) took over. He believed that this team could become the best basketball team under his leadership, so he asked the players to sign an agreement with him, agreeing that if the team was not united or the results were not good, they would not continue to participate in any competitions. Under his leadership, the team began to go uphill and finally became the unrivaled king of victory. However, at the national championship held in 1999, the performance of the players was very unsatisfactory, which frustrated Coach Carter. He really closed the training hall and prohibited the team from continuing to participate in any competitions. This move caused a great response, and he became the focus of public discussion for a while. Some people praised his character of regarding basketball as life, but more people were puzzled by his actions and even criticized him.
