The story takes place in the year 1604 of the Continental Calendar. The long war that lasted for three centuries finally came to an end. The entire Philbist continent was in mourning and devastated. Although Toru (voiced by Junji Majima) and Akali (voiced by Yuko Hara) are not related by blood, they have become sworn brothers and sisters. They have supported each other through the cruel war and have formed a deep bond with each other. The post-war economy was very depressed, and Toru was a lazy character who lived a carefree life. Although Akali has been struggling to make a living at home, her life has not improved. Finally, the crisis of food shortage came. In desperation, Toru entered the forest to find something to eat. However, there, waiting for him was a mysterious silver-haired girl named Jiaika (voiced by Chika Anji). The moment they met, the gears of fate began to turn.
