The story of the film takes place in the 1930s, when the world was in turmoil. After the Korean Peninsula in northeastern Asia was occupied by the Japanese Empire, many Koreans fled to the vast wilderness bordering the Chinese border. But in order to survive on this barren plain with only horses, many Koreans who left their homes were forced to become bandits. The weird guy Daegu is a habitual thief. A group of fully armed Japanese officers snatched a treasure map from him, and this map is related to a treasure hidden in Manchuria by the Qing Dynasty.
