During the Tang Dynasty, Ulihan (Wurigen), a prince of Dayue Kingdom, fled to Didao for refuge, and was helped by the father and daughter of Li Cunshan, the military commander of Didao, and taught by Suonanjian, a high monk of Wolong Temple. He let go of his hatred and practiced diligently. His uncle Geger, who did not want to usurp the throne, did not let him go, and was waiting for an opportunity to kill him to silence him. Ulihan was forced to flee back to Dayue Kingdom, anxious for his father's old subordinates to successfully restore the country. However, because of the departure of his lover Li Chenxuan (Xia Qing), he became angry with the Tang Dynasty and led an army to capture Didao. He almost killed his son by mistake. Finally, under the inspiration of Suonanjian's spirit of "devouring the tiger with his own body", he re-recognized himself, handed over Dayue Kingdom to the Tang Dynasty, and returned to Wolong Temple to become a monk and practice.
