"It's My Life" is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Toki Ari, and written and directed by Hara Keinosuke, who produced the movie "Ogawamachi Serenade" starring Sudo Risa, Yasuda Akira, and Osugi Ren. In the film, Toki plays the role of an Olympic alternate gymnast who unfortunately suffers from an incurable disease that causes hemiplegia. She wanders in despair and encounters music, which makes her life shine again. She accepts herself now and starts a new journey towards a new dream.
