The wandering and mysterious motorcyclist Luke (Ryan Gosling) unexpectedly reunites with his old lover Rominia (Eva Mendes) at the carnival performance. Luke is eager to reconcile with Rominia, but is surprised to find that Rominia has not only lived with another man, but also has an infant son with Rominia. So Luke, who originally planned to leave, stayed in this small town to take care of his son and Rominia. In order to make up for his guilt for his son, Luke decided to rob a bank with a man in the small town who he met by chance. In the last action, Luke was surrounded by the young patrolman Ivory (Bradley Cooper). Young Ivory has a wife who loves him and a son who is also in his infancy. Luke and Ivory, two men with completely different identities, seemed to have nothing to do with each other, but neither of them had expected that because of this robbery, they had become inextricably linked.
