Description:At midnight in Chicago, the murderer Ray was shot and wounded during the pursuit of Detective Mike (Chris Sarandon) and fled to a toy store in a panic. With nowhere to go, Ray chanted a spell and transferred his soul to a toy doll. Karen (Catherine Hicks), a single mother who works as a salesperson in a shopping mall, is worried about the birthday gift for her son Andy (Alex Vincent). When she sees the cheap doll sold by the homeless, she buys it excitedly. And the gift that Andy longs for is actually the doll that contains the soul of the murderer Ray. The doll, who calls himself "Chucky", speaks to Andy when no one is around, and kills Andy's aunt and his former accomplice.
