Night flights are named red-eye flights because most passengers stay up late and their eyes turn red. Lisa (Rachel McAdams), a senior executive at the Lux Atlantic Hotel, has to take her least favorite red-eye flight today because she has to rush back to the hotel to work tomorrow after attending her grandmother's funeral. Lisa is lucky enough to meet the handsome Jackson (Cillian Murphy) at the airport and have a good chat for the two days. What surprised Lisa even more was that the two took the same red-eye flight and sat next to each other. When Lisa thought that a beautiful fate had begun, she never expected that the originally gentle Jackson would reveal his hideous face. It turned out that Jackson was a member of the terrorists and was going to assassinate a senior official of the security department who lived in the Lux Atlantic Hotel. Now, the terrorists have kidnapped Lisa's father and asked Lisa, the director of the hotel, to assist Jackson in completing this assassination mission. Under the threat of the terrorists, where will Lisa go?
