Young Odd Thomas (Anton Yelchin) lives in a secluded town in California. His mother mistakenly registered Todd as Odd, so that he was also called Weird Thomas. However, this title is well deserved for him, because Thomas can see ghosts. He often tracks down murderers for the unjustly wronged spirits, and thus develops a father-son trust with Sheriff White Porter (Willem Dafoe). Originally, he and his girlfriend Stormy Llewellyn (Addison Timlin) lived a relatively quiet and comfortable life, but one day Thomas discovered that a large number of resentful blood spirits gathered around a man, and the terrible scene in his dream not long ago made him feel frightened.
