A car accident gave Shiki Tono (voiced by Kenichi Suzumura) the ability to see the "thread of death". The thread of death is a series of threads that are spread all over various objects. As long as you cut along it, you can easily destroy the object. This ability makes Shiki very distressed. One day on the way home from school, Shiki met a woman in white. The sudden killing intent in his body caught Shiki off guard, and he cut the woman into pieces before he could react. The next day, the woman who was supposed to be dead stood in front of Shiki. She told Shiki that her name was Elquit (voiced by Hitomi Namatame), a vampire with an immortal body, who had been tracking and trying to eliminate the dead disciple Roa (voiced by Kenta Miyake). Shiki's attack made Elquit's body extremely weak, because before he recovered, Shiki had to take on the responsibility of protecting her safety. After witnessing Roa's atrocities, Shiki decided to join the team to eliminate Roa. At the same time, Shelu (voiced by Fumiko Orikasa) of the church also had an irreconcilable hatred with Roa. While tracking Roa, Shiki gradually discovers that some unusual memories are awakening in his mind, and that his past, which he has always believed in, turned out to be a lie.
