The story takes place in Germany in 1961. Emil (Dennis Mojen), a soldier who has just retired from the army, came to DEFA Films in Babelsberg, where his brother Alexander (Ken Duken) got a job for his younger brother. Obviously, a new world that Emil had never heard of was about to unfold before his eyes. In a group performance, Emil met a girl named Milu (Emilia Schüle), who was the dance double of the popular actress Beatrice (Ellenie Salvo González). Milu's graceful dance and gentle personality quickly made Emil fall in love. After a series of hot offensives, Milu finally agreed to have dinner with Emil. However, Milu was going back to France the next day, and Emil decided to give her a surprise before his lover left.
