He (Ewan Gordon McGregor) is a ghostwriter. Just like his code name "Ghost", he hides deep behind the scenes and writes memoirs for celebrities from all walks of life. One day, Ghost received a new task, which was to help former British Prime Minister Adam Long (Pierce Brosnan) polish his memoirs. Previously, the book was handled by Mike McCullagh, Adam Long's assistant during his tenure, but McCullagh committed suicide mysteriously. Seeing the generous reward, Ghost accepted the job. During the writing process, Adam was accused of war crimes, and the political storm was imminent. Ghost also began to deliberately explore Adam's unknown past and the cause of McCullagh's death, but he didn't know that this move would lead him into danger... This film is adapted from Robert Harris's novel "The Gunman" and won the Silver Bear Award for Best Director at the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival.
