The story takes place in the private Yamaboshi High School. The five members of the Cultural Research Department are Nagase Iori (voiced by Toyosaki Aoi), who has a smile as warm as the spring breeze, Inaba Himeko (voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki), who looks dark and poisonous, but is actually very delicate and fragile, Yaegashi Taichi (voiced by Mizushima Daisuke), who can only be called ordinary in all aspects, Kiriyama Yui (voiced by Kanemoto Hisako), who is a martial arts master but suffers from male phobia, and Aoki Yoshifumi (voiced by Terashima Takuma), who is frivolous but actually very dedicated. These five members of the Cultural Research Department live a peaceful day as usual, but what they don't know is that soon, their fate will be overturned by something. The personality transformation happened without warning, and this kind of bridge that only happens in science fiction novels makes the members feel at a loss. However, after the shock, excitement follows, and the opportunity to experience this world using other people's bodies is rare. However, as the personality transformation occurs, the secret feelings and sad past hidden deep in the hearts of the members can no longer be hidden.
