This film is based on the children's story of the same name by Roald Dahl, a Norwegian-British children's literature writer. When Mr. Fox (voiced by George Clooney) and Mrs. Fox (voiced by Meryl Streep) were stealing from a pigeon farm, they learned that Mrs. Fox was pregnant. Mr. Fox promised that he would not steal again after they escaped. Two years later, Mr. Fox, despite the opposition of Lawyer Badger (voiced by Bill Murray), insisted on buying a tree house located on the land of three farmers: a chicken farm, a ham merchant, and a cider farmer. Fox son Ash (voiced by Jason Schwartzman), who wants to be an athlete, is jealous and hates his cousin Christopherson (voiced by Eric Chase Anderson) who has just moved in temporarily. Fox father can't help it again, and joins hands with tree house manager possum Kelly (voiced by Wallace Wolodarsky) to secretly steal from the three farmers again, until it leads to a deadly battle between humans and animals... The film was nominated for the British Film and Television Guild Award for Best Animated Film and Best Music and the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Film, and won the Best Animated Film Award from the Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto Film Critics Association, and the Best Adapted Screenplay Award from the San Francisco and San Diego Film Critics Association.
