In 2013, the earth was desolate. After a devastating war, the civilization that the world had built was gone. Human beings lived in displaced conditions on this scorched earth, living a life worse than death under famine and violence. A terrorist organization named Hornest has rapidly expanded and is huge in scale due to its violent suppression of residents. The ruler of the organization, Admiral Bethlehem (Will Patton), even fantasizes about ruling the world. After being arrested, an unknown tramp (Kevin Costner) was forcibly joined the organization. Finally, he seized the only chance to escape successfully. In an abandoned jeep, he found a skeleton. In order to keep warm, he put on the postman's clothes on the skeleton, and he accidentally found a package of expired mail. From then on, he began to travel back and forth between towns, delivering letters for them, and lied that he was a postman. Soon, he won the trust of the people in the town and led them to fight tenaciously against the totalitarian rulers.
