Millionaire Wang Baiwan (played by Stephen Chow) was stabbed to death with an ice pick. As his relationship with his wife Judy Tong (played by Anita Mui) broke down, Judy Tong became the biggest suspect. It just so happened that Zhou Xingxing (played by Stephen Chow) looked almost exactly like Wang Baiwan, so the police asked Zhou Xingxing to pretend to be Wang Baiwan and let Judy Tong take him home so that Zhou Xingxing could find evidence from him.
