In the era when coal was the main fuel, Kunioka Tetsuzo (played by Junichi Okada) predicted the future development of oil and immediately started an oil business in Kitakyushu. Faced with strong obstruction from domestic operators and European and American oil giants, he was not discouraged. He expanded a new business territory with unconventional ideas, high mobility, and a heart that cherished his subordinates; even when Japan was defeated, Tetsuzo's resolute posture never changed. However, the "incident" that gave the Japanese a greater shock finally happened! When he encountered hostility from the oil giants, the oil pipeline was blocked, and there was no oil to sell, Tetsuzo made a crazy decision-to secretly send the last huge oil tanker "Nissho Maru" to Iran, hoping to import oil directly from Iran, and this action was tantamount to being an enemy of Britain, which dominated Iran. Despite the opposition of his subordinates, Tetsuzo started a difficult battle against the oil giants. Can Nissho Maru avoid the eyes of the British fleet and return to Japan smoothly?
