FX recently officially released the six-episode limited series "The Sterling Affairs" written by Gina Welch, the screenwriter of "Feud" and "The Scavenger Hunt", and invited Laurence Fishburne of "Black-ish" and "Hannibal" and Jacki Weaver, who was nominated twice for "Animal Kingdom" and "Silver Linings Playbook", to star. The story will unfold with Donald Sterling, the former owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. He bought the team for $12.5 million in 1981, but the performance has not improved; what really made Donald "well-known" was the racial discrimination scandal that broke out in 2014. In September 2013, during a dispute with his Latino girlfriend, because he was dissatisfied with his girlfriend uploading a photo with Magic Johnson, he made a big statement, saying that he "supported black people, paid them salaries, and everything they have was given by me"; after the conversation was made public, the news caused a sensation and triggered protests. In the end, Donald was banned for life and fined $2.5 million by the league; he was also expelled from the Clippers, and the team later changed hands. In addition, Donald had several extramarital affairs, and had a tug-of-war with his wife Shelly Sterling for nearly sixty years, and finally sought divorce. This time Jacki will play Shelly, and Laurence will play another key figure in the Clippers-Doc Rivers, who joined in 1991 and helped them break into the playoffs, and then coached from 2013 to 2020. Under the shadow of the racial scandal, Doc continued to lead the team to complete his contract.
