Dinosaur tells the story of Nina (Ashley Storrie), a 30-something autistic woman who loves living with her sister and best friend Evie. However, Nina is shocked when Evie rushes into an engagement after just six weeks and asks Nina to be her bridesmaid. Forced to reconcile with her sister’s impulsive decision, Nina struggles to cope with the meaning of this new challenge. Nina’s relationship with her sister isn’t the only change she experiences, as she explores new possibilities in a career in paleontology and potential new relationships in her own life, introduced by the well-meaning Lee, who helps Nina see these new challenges in a more positive light. As their relationship develops, we find that as Nina helps Lee, he helps her.
