The death of his wife brought the life of detective Adrian (Tony Shalhoub) to the bottom. Soon after, Adrian, who was often in grief, suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder. Obsessive-compulsive disorder made Adrian have no place to stay in the police station. Soon, he lost his job and became a vagrant. In order to survive, Adrian had to make money, so a private detective agency was established. Adrian hired nurse Sharona (Bitty Schram) to take care of his daily life, and he solved one bizarre case after another with his excellent logical reasoning ability and magical memory. Later, Adrian met a single mother named Natalie (Traylor Howard), and the two got along very well.
