This is a sci-fi romance film jointly produced by Luxembourg, Denmark, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and France. In an upside-down twin world, people live and work as if they were living in a parallel world, without interfering with each other. The law stipulates that no one can communicate with people in another world, let alone try to cross to another world. Adam (Jim Sturgess), who lives in the "lower world", and Eden (Kirsten Dunst), who lives in the "upper world", met and had a good impression of each other on the top of a mountain when they were young. Unfortunately, an accident caused Eden to lose her memory and forget Adam from then on; although Adam missed her, he could not meet her again on the mountain. Until one day many years later, Adam accidentally saw Eden on TV, and instantly awakened this buried feeling in his heart! Adam, who is still infatuated with Eden, is determined to use his scientific talent to break into the ladder to the sky, obtain high-tech equipment, break through the gravity of space, and vow to have another earth-shaking love with Eden! Although they are not far apart, their love is destined to be far more than just a matter of mutual consent...
