During World War II, the Jewish heroine was imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp. There, she had an emotional entanglement with a doctor who performed human experiments on prisoners, and thus saved her life. Decades later, the heroine lives with her two sons. That past event has always troubled her, and at the same time, the two sons, with very different personalities, have their own troubles. How will they react when they know their mother's past?
