Description:Pat (Bradley Cooper), a cheerful and optimistic middle school teacher, went home and saw his wife cheating on him. He was sent to the hospital for psychiatric treatment by his parents due to mental trauma. After being discharged from the hospital, Pat returned to his parents' home to live with his parents. Under the excessive care of his father (Robert DeNiro) and mother (Jacki Weaver), he inevitably felt depressed. At a party, Pat met Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a young woman who had just lost her husband and job. Tiffany, who was full of thorns, confronted Pat everywhere, which made Pat avoid her at first. But as the two got in touch with each other, Pat gradually discovered Tiffany's moving points, and Tiffany was attracted to him.
