After a day of exhaustion, Xiaokang (Lee Kang-sheng), a salesman of urns, sneaks into a room in an apartment building. He never expected that a street vendor (Chen Zhaorong) who would be the object of his desire (projection) would sneak into the room. The temporary owner of the house is a saleswoman (Yang Guimei). Although she and Xiaokang have different sexual orientations, they are also people who do not have love (emotion) to warm their hearts. Xiaokang and the street vendor were always on guard at the beginning (the saleswoman and each other). After they got to know each other and understood each other's lives, the wariness disappeared, but they did not become friends from then on (the cowardly Xiaokang could not muster up the courage to express his love).
