Lord Vader (David Prowse) drives the resistance out of the base and sends thousands of probes to search for Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). The resistance ambushed on the icy and snowy planet Haas. Luke was accidentally captured by the snowman during a patrol mission. After escaping with the "Force", he heard Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness) asking him to go to Dix to find Jedi Master Yoda for training. The Galactic Empire sent a large army to attack the planet Haas. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and the ape Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) took Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and the robot C-3PO to escape on the Millennium Falcon. They arrived at Bespin Cloud City, where Han Solo's old acquaintance Governor Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) temporarily rested, but found that Lando had reached an agreement with Lord Vader to betray Han Solo and set a trap to lure Luke to come. Luke, who had not completed his studies, insisted on taking the risk alone despite Yoda's dissuasion, and a fierce battle was inevitable. The film won the 53rd Academy Award for Best Sound and Special Contribution to Visual Effects, and was nominated for Best Art Direction-Setting and Best Original Film Music.
