Lin Tuo (Lin Yi) and An Zhique (Li Landi), who are in their prime, met at a job fair during their junior summer internship. They fell in love at first sight and confirmed their relationship after getting to know each other better. With the arrival of graduation season, the two joined hands to move from the ivory tower to society, working part-time, applying for jobs, and planning for the future. Although the road of life did not go smoothly, they gradually got on the right track with the encouragement of each other. When everything seemed to be going smoothly, Lin Tuo was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as ALS. ALS ended Lin Tuo's seemingly ordinary but hopeful life. Although his life was shortened, Lin Tuo, accompanied by the warmth and love of his family, lovers, friends, and colleagues, went from trying to give up to coexisting with terminal illness, and finally bravely challenged the disease. The people around Lin Tuo and his fellow patients were also inspired by him to re-examine their attitude towards life, learn to cherish the present, and decide to work hard to live every day without regrets and full of hope.
