In the vast and peaceful primeval forest, the happy Smurfs are preparing for the annual Blue Moon Festival. At this happy and busy moment, their nemesis, the evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) and his pet Azcat, broke into the secret territory of the Smurfs. The frightened Smurfs fled in all directions, and the poor Clumsy (voiced by Anton Yelchin) accidentally ran into the waterfall where 99 Smurfs were said to have died.
