More than 300 years ago, there was an "exile island" on the southeast coast where criminals were exiled for generations. In addition to their legitimate livelihoods, the islanders also worked as pirates to counter the threats from the government and various parties. The government offered high positions and generous salaries to the pirate leader Hai Ye (Simon Yam) to recruit him, but Hai Ye flatly refused. People of all kinds frequently came and went on the island, and a dazzling flower street gave the adventurous men a gentle and intoxicating life; the "Zhongyuan Festival" is an annual event on the island. In the Zhongyuan Festival, the "singing girls offering ghosts" who comfort the dead with their singing are the most eye-catching. Li Er Shao is hesitant between Xiao Shuang and his first wife Zhen Furong (played by Li Xiaoran), and inadvertently participates in the erotic and money gamble designed by Xiao Shuang. Zhen Furong, who learned of her husband's betrayal, jumped into the sea in despair. After being rescued by Hai Ye, the two developed an ambiguous relationship.
