On a rainy night in 1933, a beautiful and charming woman, Gilda (Charlize Theron), suddenly broke into the bedroom of Guy (Stuart Townsend), a first-year student at the University of Cambridge in England. Guy kindly took her in for the night, and then the two quickly fell in love. A few years later, Gilda became a fashion photographer and invited Guy to meet at her mansion in Paris, and enjoyed fashion and fun with her model and close friend Mia (Penélope Cruz). However, just when Gilda's career was in full swing, World War II broke out. The three good friends parted ways because of their different views on this. Guy and Mia decided to go to the front line for support, while Gilda stayed. After six years of the war of resistance, Guy returned to Paris, where he had been thinking about it day and night, and learned that his lover Gilda had become the mistress of a German officer who was condemned by thousands of people, but he didn't know that she was actually an underground spy. Gilda is now facing a life-and-death crisis. On the one hand, her identity as a spy is about to be exposed, and on the other hand, the people of Paris are eager to kill her. Can the fate of the two lovers still intersect? This film won the Best Film Award at the 2005 Milan International Film Festival.
