Description:A female writer (played by Yuko Takeuchi), who has dabbled in everything from light novels for girls to horror stories, has been invited to write short ghost stories for a magazine in the past six months. Her stories all come from personal experiences submitted by readers, and one girl's submission dragged her into an unimaginable abyss of horror. The girl (played by Ai Hashimoto) once rented an apartment, but she often heard the sound of clothes rubbing against tatami. The writer followed the clues to investigate, and found that not only the girl's room, but also other rooms in the entire apartment had had strange events. She and her writer friend Yoshiaki Hiraoka (played by Kuranosuke Sasaki), supernatural event enthusiast Tetsuo Misawa (played by Kentaro Sakaguchi), and her husband Naoto (played by Kenichi Takito) continued to track down, even across a century of history, and finally found a series of horrors that had occurred on this land.

This film is adapted from the original work "Zanyu" by Ono Fuyumi, the author of "Twelve Kingdoms".
