A series of pet dog killings occurred in a high-end residential area in Tokyo. TV reporter Suzuki Kaori (Mari Hoshino) witnessed the scene of popular actress Fukue Yumiko (Maki Goto) abandoning her dead dog, but Yumiko refuted that she was also a victim of the dog killing incident. Kaori was suspended from work under pressure from the TV station. Kaori was dissatisfied with Yumiko and began to investigate Yumiko with her colleague Yasuda Akira (Kazuhiko Nishimura). They found out that Yumiko, who was an actress in a small theater troupe, worked part-time in a bar where lesbians gathered three years ago under the introduction of the troupe's top actress Kitaoka Miho (Saki Takaoka). Kaori went to the lesbian bar and after a 419 with the bar owner, she learned that Yumiko was kept by the president's wife, Tsuneko Ikukata (Hisako Manda), who lived a single life, and Tsuneko, who was very enthusiastic about Yumiko, later committed suicide in despair because Yumiko did not love her. In addition, Miho, who introduced Yumiko to work part-time, was also killed half a year ago. According to reports at the time, there was a dog's body next to Miho's body, and from the situation at the scene and the testimony of neighbors, the culprit was someone very close to Miho. So Kaori speculated that the culprit was Yumiko. Kaori ran to ask Yumiko about Tsuneko and Miho, and Yumiko admitted the triangle relationship between the three. It turned out that Miho also liked Yumiko and was willing to give up the position of the top actress for her. The jealous Tsuneko slashed Miho's face with a kitchen knife, and then took a large amount of sleeping pills to commit suicide at home. Miho was injured, so Yumiko replaced her as the protagonist. Yumiko, who became a popular star with the help of Miho, was spotted by the famous director Saegusa Kimiaki (Ishida Junichi), and Yumiko, who wanted to become famous, chose to marry the director. The abandoned Miho used the breakup fee to open a bar, but still couldn't forget her. So Miho later went to Yumiko again and threatened her that the two of them were accomplices in not saving Tsuneko who took sleeping pills that day. In desperation, Yumiko strangled Miho. Kaori wants Yumiko to turn herself in, but Yumiko says it's just a made-up story and Kaori doesn't have any evidence. So Kaori starts looking for evidence, but can she find it? Why is she so obsessed with Yumiko? Is she really just mad at Yumiko for causing her suspension?
