Chat Logs follows 21-year-old university student Frances as she navigates a series of relationships that force her to face her own vulnerable side for the first time. Frances is observant, sensible and sharp. Her ex-girlfriend and current bestie, Bobbi, is confident, outspoken and compelling. Despite breaking up three years ago, Frances and Bobbi remain inseparable, performing poetry shows together in Dublin. After one of their performances, they meet Melissa, an older writer, and her husband, Nick, a handsome but taciturn actor. Mellisa is intrigued by the two, and the four begin dating. While Mellisa and Bobbi openly flirt, Frances and Nick begin a secret and passionate affair that takes both of them by surprise.
