Whenever the novelist Yoshida Yoshio (played by Yuke Santamaria) hit a bottleneck in his creation, he would eavesdrop on the conversations of the guests in the cafe, get inspiration from them, and create one unique woman of the time after another. "The Woman Who Rains Hard": A man (Takashi Kashiwahara) meets a mysterious girl (Saki Aibu), who stays in the man's house all day long, waiting for him to come back with a lunch box no matter how hungry she is; "The Woman Who Goes Bankrupt": An unemployed young man named Ando (Kengo Kora) meets a drunk girl named Mari (Asami Mizukawa), and he does everything to please Mari, even overdrawing his account; "The Woman Who Dreams": A boy (Yuko Koyanagi) sees a graceful and elegant woman (Yuki Koyanagi) at the station, but her life is like a dream; "The Woman Who Closes on Weekdays": A heartbroken Tetsuro (Takashi Tsukamoto) and a cosmetics salesperson named Chisato (Yuuka), but he can never forget the girlfriend who abandoned him; "The Boring Woman": Being pressed for manuscripts, Yoshida tells the story of his boring girlfriend (Kyoko Hasegawa) who spends every day with him. This film is adapted from a novel by Yoshida Shuichi.
