"Lies of Lies" is a romantic suspense film. A woman was imprisoned for being falsely accused of killing her husband. After being released from prison, she decided to become the wife of her daughter's adoptive father, Kang Ji-min, in order to find her adopted daughter. The false love that began because of her daughter gradually became real. Lee Yu-ri plays Ji Eun-soo, who is the daughter-in-law of a chaebol family, but becomes a suspect of murdering her husband overnight. She fights alone to find the daughter she gave birth to in prison. Yeon Jung-hoon plays Kang Ji-min, a reporter who is both kind and righteous, raising her adopted daughter alone. Lee Il-hwa plays Kim Hwa-ran, Ji Eun-soo's former mother-in-law. After Ji Eun-soo was accused of being the murderer who killed her son, she launched a strong revenge and showed a terrible face without blood and tears. It is directed by Kim Jong-kwon, director of "Hate You! Juliet", and written by Kim Ji-eun, screenwriter of "Cheongdam-dong Scandal".
