A female reporter goes deep into Mashhad, Iran's most sacred city, to track down and investigate the serial killer "Spider Killer" who kills female sex workers in the name of "cleansing street crimes". However, as the death toll increases sharply and the truth gets closer, the reporter finds that the whole society begins to regard the "Spider Killer" as a hero, which makes her chance of pursuing justice slim.
