Hinako Mukai (voiced by Rina Kawaei) is a surfing enthusiast who has a strong passion and sincere love for the sea. Only when she is at the cusp of the storm can she feel that she is truly alive. However, although Hinako is very proud on the sea, in life, she is actually a girl who thinks a lot and feels deeply confused about the future. A life that made Hinako meet a firefighter named Hinapopus Minato (voiced by Ryota Katayose). The brave and upright Minato soon attracted Hinako's attention. The two hit it off and came together, starting a relationship full of happiness. But the good times didn't last long. A shipwreck took Minato's life. Hinako couldn't accept that it was the sea she loved that took away her most beloved person. One day, Hinako, who had been depressed for a long time, hummed the song that they often sang when they were together. What she didn't expect was that Minato actually appeared in front of her.
