Welcome to Rekall, a factory that can turn your dreams into reality. The protagonist Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) is an ordinary factory worker. Although he has a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who seems to love each other, he still seems unsatisfied inside. Mind travel sounds like a perfect vacation to relax from his frustrating life-real memories as an agent may be just what he needs. But when the process goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted fugitive. He finds himself on the run from the police controlled by Chief Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), and there is no one Quaid can trust, except a rebel female fighter (Jessica Biel) who works for the leader of the underground resistance organization (Bill Nighy). The line between fantasy and reality becomes blurred, and his fate is uncertain as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true destiny. The film is adapted from Philip K. Dick's famous short story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale".
