"Golden City" is set in the Golden City Shopping Mall in Prince Edward, which is famous for selling cheap wedding products. The protagonist of the movie, Li Fang, works in a wedding dress rental shop in the mall. She has been dating Edward, a young owner of another wedding photography shop, for seven years. Edward is regarded as Li Fang's prince charming, and it seems that getting married is a matter of time, but it turns out that Li Fang has a secret that prevents her from getting married.
