"Blue Valentine" has experienced many twists and turns in the rating, and was finally rated R. After six years of being together, Dean (played by Ryan Gosling) and Cindy (played by Michelle Williams) have problems in their marriage. The two wanted to repair their relationship on Valentine's Day and deliberately left their daughter at her grandfather's house. They also deliberately found a love hotel to find some new "excitement points" to stimulate their love. But the two had a dispute over their attitude towards future life, and their relationship not only did not repair but became more and more intense. Dean is comfortable with the plain life with a wife and daughter, but Cindy hopes to start her own business. As the differences between the two continue to heat up, those happy fragments of their beautiful marriage life in the past have now become embarrassing and distressing memories. Does a relationship have to go through the "seven-year itch"? Will these two people who once loved each other and had a sweet marriage eventually fall apart?
