Chuck (Tom Hanks) works for FedEx. His career as a system engineer determines that his life is busy, self-disciplined, and full of time pressure. Chuck can always arrange all his work in an orderly manner in his daily schedule, and time is under his control. The only thing he has no time to care about is his girlfriend Kelly (Helen Hunt). A plane crash changed everything. Everyone thought Chuck died in the disaster, but in fact he survived and was trapped on an uninhabited island. Life on the deserted island even became a problem with food and drink, and Chuck became a modern Robinson. But on the other hand, he got a feeling that he had never realized before because of his dependence on nature, fighting against danger, loneliness, and hunger. When he returned to modern society, his life had a new beginning.
