Detective Lai Chun-sheng (Cheng Tse-shi), who has repeatedly solved strange cases, joined the police dog team because he was saved by a police kennel while investigating a case. He loves dogs and is familiar with their habits. After retirement, Chun-sheng used his pension to open a dog farm in Cheung Shing Village to fulfill his lifelong wish. Chun-sheng and his daughter Lai Sin-ru (Chung Ka-yan) depend on each other for life, and the father and daughter have a deep affection.
