Andrew Stanton, the famous director who has won the Oscar, brings a new masterpiece "John Carter", an epic action-adventure masterpiece set on the mysterious and magnificent Mars. The film is adapted from the classic science fiction novel "A Princess of Mars" written by Edgar Rice Burroughs in the early 20th century. The story tells that during the American Civil War, a traumatized former officer John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) accidentally traveled to Mars. Due to the different gravity, John became a "superman" with infinite strength and bouncy jumping, and was thus involved in the conflict between several local ethnic groups, dealing with the beautiful princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), the heroic ally Tas Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the cunning enemy Sabo Zane. However, the suffering brought by the war on Earth has long made John lose the will to fight; although several major ethnic groups regard him as a key figure who can save Mars, can he really put the past aside, take on the responsibility of protecting the people, save this world in dire straits, and reverse the fate of the alien battlefield?
