"Pride and Prejudice" is Jane Austen's masterpiece. This work has been adapted into movies many times. This film was produced by the British BBC in 1995. In the 18th century, the Bennet family in the British countryside had five daughters. Mrs. Bennet was anxious all day long, and her biggest wish was to marry off her daughters one by one. One day, the news that the young rich man Mr. Bingley moved into the city came, which made Mrs. Bennet very excited. She hoped that her eldest daughter Jane could win Mr. Bingley's favor. At the ball, Bingley really fell in love with the most beautiful eldest lady. However, Bingley's old friend Darcy (played by Colin Firth) was arrogant by nature. He bluntly said that it was difficult to interact with ordinary people, and he disdained to dance with the second child Elizabeth (played by Jennifer Ehle). But soon Darcy developed a liking for her lively and lovely behavior. Although Darcy admired Elizabeth, he could not stand the vulgar and rude behavior of her mother and sisters, and persuaded Bingley to give up marrying Jane. Because of a misunderstanding, the relationship between Bingley and Jane is in jeopardy, and Elizabeth is angry with Darcy because of this. In the end, can the Bennets successfully marry off their five daughters? Will Bingley and Jane, Darcy and Elizabeth come out of their lost state and conclude a happy marriage?
