The Killing has faked its second death. Netflix has announced that it has ordered the fourth and final season of The Killing as a limited series. The show was produced by Fox TV Studios in 2011 and aired on AMC. The sad-toned The Killing stars Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman, and tells the story of two Seattle detectives involved in a murder case. The show is a remake of the Danish series Forbrydelsen. Werner Schade will return to continue to serve as producer. The Killing was canceled by AMC after its second season in 2012. However, after Netflix and AMC reached a production cost-sharing and syndication agreement for the third season of the show, The Killing was revived. However, due to the continued low ratings of the third season of The Killing after its resurrection, AMC canceled the show again earlier this year. However, recently, Fox Television Studios, Weina Schade and her representative at WME quietly presented a six-episode finale script of The Killing to Netflix.
