Introduction

Sophie (Ruby Barnhill), a little girl living in an orphanage, is always depressed. At three o'clock in the morning one day, she was alone at the window watching the long night, but she accidentally saw a giant (Mark Rylance). The giant was panicked after being discovered, and hurriedly grabbed Sophie and ran all the way back to the giant country where he was. Fortunately, this giant called Kind-hearted is as his name suggests. He does not feed on "human beans" like other giants, but only eats fruits and vegetables, and he will also send the beautiful dreams he finds into the dreams of children. This can also be regarded as a compensation for the atrocities of the same kind. Perhaps it is because of the common loneliness and kindness that little Sophie and the tall Kind-hearted gradually become familiar with each other and trust each other. They have become good friends without any grudges or hidden things... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by the famous children's literature writer Roald Dahl.
