FX has booked the Marvel-themed drama "Legion" in the past. The first season will have 8 episodes. Filming will begin in Vancouver in the summer of 2016. It is now confirmed to premiere on February 8th, US time. This "X-Men" drama in a parallel universe (so it is not connected to the movie) created by Noah Hawley and Bryan Singer is based on the Marvel comic character David Haller (codenamed Legion). In the original work, he is the son of Professor X Charles Xavier (played by Dan Stevens, the cousin in "Downton Abbey"). He suffers from severe schizophrenia, but he is also an OMEGA-level mutant. He originally thought he was crazy and went in and out of the mental hospital many times, but after a strange experience with a fellow patient, he found that his auditory and visual hallucinations might be real. Rachel Keller, who starred in the second season of "Fargo", will play the heroine Syd Barrett, a 20-something woman who can be self-sufficient on the streets. She still believes that she will be happy. She uses a sharp and thorny attitude to protect her weak heart, even though she knows that this will make her disliked and in danger.
